In 2015 Athena Media won a competitive tender to provide digital communications and social media consultancy to The Arts Council of Ireland.
In this project Athena Media worked closely with the Council to provide an independent, research-led digital consultancy focused on empowering it to use digital and social media more effectively.
During the project Athena Media conducted an audit of all digital communications and social media activity by the Arts Council and identified positive ways to integrate both offline and online communications and to provide a more effective use of digital as a strategic communications tool.
As part of the process we ran workshops with staff, did comparative work, and supported the Arts Council in its development with mentoring and training sessions. We developed a digital communications strategy, plan and social media guidelines which were handed over to the client at the end of the six month project.
